10 ways to mental wellbeing

NEW FOR 2025!

Learn powerful techniques for good mental health

Think about your mind. Think about the influence it has upon your wellbeing. It controls how you see your life, your future, how well you bounce back from adversity, how your relationships go. Your success in the world of work depends upon a healthy mind, your happiness and contentment too and yet, we often do not take good care of it. We often look after our clothes, our hair, our cars, almost everything apart from our mind.

Discover the 10 ways to wellbeing

This course will change that. This course is so much more than learning how to avoid mental illness such as depression or anxiety although it will help with that. This is about getting more out of life and finding some peace in a frantic world. Learn ten simple, clinically proven techniques to care for your mind, that can easily be incorporated into your everyday life. A mental health version of ‘five a day’, if you like – the challenge is to try these techniques it for one week and then notice the difference.

What will you learn?

Our 2.5 hour workshop introduces participants to powerful techniques and coping strategies that can change habits and behaviours thus protecting against stress, anxiety and low mood:

  • Understand how our stress response influences the way we behave
  • Learn how to trigger our feel-good brain chemicals to boost contentment
  • Discover how to focus and quieten the mind
  • Understand how habits influence behaviour and how they can be changed
  • Discover why the natural world can boost mental well-being and resilience
  • Understand the mind-body connection and why movement and exercise are important
  • Learn about meaning and why it can even reduce the risk of dementia
  • Take control of decision making
  • Learn the joys of being present in your life and why this brings calm, clarity and even a better memory
