A Community First Yorkshire event

Community Finance Network meeting – finance and funding for your social enterprise

Competition for grants is as fierce as ever. Have you considered different options to secure the funding you need? This network session will introduce VCSE finance staff and volunteers to different types of finance, income and sources of funding that are particularly suitable for social enterprises. We will have a presentation from Key Fund who will explain how their flexible loans and grants help enterprises start up, become sustainable and grow. If you want to create jobs, reinvigorate communities and offer social investment, this is the network for you. Hear from established social enterprises as they share their funding experiences.

What will you learn?

During the session we will explore the support, with combined grant and loan model of funding, on offer from Key Fund. Explore how this might be an option for your organisation, and learn from real-life success (and even unsuccessful) stories.  At the end of the session you’ll have vital hints and tips to help you secure alternative funding and other potential sources of income.

Who should attend?

This session is aimed at VCSE finance staff and volunteers, especially those from social enterprises.

Please note this training is aimed at voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.

What's included?

All attendees will receive a copy of the presentations and notes from the session.
