Community Finance Network Meeting – Getting Started with AI (10am)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be a powerful tool for charities to improve their financial management and achieve their mission more efficiently and effectively.

AI can help a charity manage its finances in various ways, such as:

  • Automating some repetitive tasks such as reporting and reconciliation, saving you time and reducing errors
  • Providing insights into your organisation’s financial performance, budgeting and forecasting
  • Helping with donor engagement and retention by being able to personalise communications
  • Supporting impact reporting and helping to demonstrate the outcomes and social value of your charity’s work.

AI does come with some challenges and risks, such as ethical, legal, and social implications, data quality and security, and human-AI interaction. Therefore, charities should be careful and responsible when using AI, and seek guidance and support from experts and peers.

We want to hear of your own experiences of using AI: what’s gone well and what not so well.  Where has it made a positive impact, or where do you feel you need more support to feel confident with its use?
