Prioritising wellbeing for better balance through nature

Are you looking for a coaching course which combines personal development with wellbeing?

Leading and working in the sector can be challenging and rewarding all at once. You need to juggle time, energy, and the ever-changing nature of your organisation or team. You put time and attention into enhancing your team’s wellbeing, yet experience frustration and over-whelm because you feel unable to practice what you preach when it comes to balancing your own work and life.

Nourish your mind in nature with this outdoor session that will encourage you to delve deeply into mindfulness and relaxation in Make it Wild’s beautiful rewilding site.

The Down to Earth project, facilitated by JK McQuinn of Where the Mind Grows (and collaborators), invites you to make space and time in nature, to learn, grow and reflect.

You will return to work with strategies to create more space and time for yourself and the collective wellbeing of your team, so that they and your organisation can thrive.

This nature-inspired leadership development workshop focuses on managing time, energy and ‘mind clutter’ in the busy day-to-day. Helping you to enhance your wellbeing and avoid burnout in the challenge and change of your roles.

In the session you will:

  • Be equipped with new resources to manage your time and energy in a way that ‘only feeds what you want to grow’ in your culture and personal well-being
  • Reduce your stress and feel better connected and confident – inspired by nature
  • Learn a range of simple, yet effective resources to share with your team to support effective time management and prioritisation
  • Get creative time for reflection
  • Boost energy and motivation.

Who should attend?

Leaders of organisations and organisational teams within the VCSE sector. The workshop will equip you with strategies to create more space and time for yourself so that you can better lead and support others.

Please note this workshop is aimed at voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.

What's included

JK of Where the Mind Grows will facilitate from within the ancient woods of Bank Woods, exploring time and energy with strategies to help you declutter, gain clarity on small and powerful changes for your self and ‘compost’ through nature-inspired approaches for leadership. Followed by a relaxation and mindfulness session with a Natural Mindfulness session delivered by Helen at Make it Wild.
