Finance Staff Network

This is a space where charity finance colleagues from North Yorkshire can meet with others in a similar role.

We recognise that you may be the only person in your organisation with any financial knowledge and that there are times when you feel you would benefit from being able to discuss a problem with someone else in a similar position. By joining this network you will have the opportunity to share experiences, ask questions and share good practice, information, advice and tips on all areas of voluntary sector finance with finance colleagues in similar organisations across the county.

This Finance Staff network meeting will be an open discussion about anything relating to finance.

This might be thoughts or questions about software, payroll packages, financial reports, accounting or Excel. The session will be a chance to ask others questions if you are experiencing a challenge and would welcome support and advice. Maybe you could share a top tip with someone who is new to the sector. You will also be able to help us shape the meetings going forward with ideas for future formats and topics for discussion.

Who should attend?

This network is open to employees of voluntary or community organisations in North Yorkshire who have responsibility for day-to-day financial operations.

Please note this training is aimed at voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.

About the trainer

This session will be facilitated by two of our Development Officers Lizzie Clapham and Michael Fletcher.
