Gift Aid – bitesize

Gift aid
The government estimates that over £564 million goes unclaimed in Gift Aid every year!

Many charities are wary of claiming Gift Aid for fear of getting it wrong and being penalised. Others avoid it because they consider it too time-consuming to manage.  Is your organisation missing out on a vital pot of funding that can supercharge your overall income?

Gift Aid is a great way to make donors feel like they are giving more. A win win for charities and donors.

This session will give you a detailed overview of Gift Aid, guide you through the process of making your first claim and help you boost your charity’s income.

After all, who doesn’t like money back from HMRC!

By the end of the workshop, you will:

  • Understand what Gift Aid is
  • Understand what donations qualify for Gift Aid
  • Know how to claim Gift Aid
  • Understand the pitfalls and how to avoid them.

This live, interactive training will be delivered on Zoom.
