How to Recruit Trustees Successfully

Five people in a board meeting looking a their laptops and discussing with each other.

You need new trustees to join your board or management committee but how do you implement a successful recruitment campaign?

How do you decide what voices and experiences are missing from your trustee board? What do you need to consider in advertising, selection, interviews, appointment and induction?

We’ve got you covered in this one-hour session which will provide you with a clear understanding of how to successfully recruit trustees and strengthen your board.

We will provide you with links to our free guides and resources to help strengthen your recruitment process.

Alongside our other trustee training, this session will support you in your role as trustee and ensure you are meeting the Charity Good Governance Code.

By the end of this live interactive training you will have an understanding of:

  • How to work out who you need on your board
  • How to plan the recruitment process
  • How to find your new trustees
  • How to shortlist and interview trustees
  • How to get the onboarding right.
