Introduction to Menopause

NEW FOR 2025!

We’re excited to launch our new CPD-accredited in-person training designed to help you understand the impact of menopause in the workplace.

This engaging and informative session will introduce the latest research data, promote a clear understanding of the terminology, and provide valuable insights into the long-term effects of menopause if not addressed early enough.

You’ll also learn how to best support colleagues in all roles, including management. We’ll delve into policies and procedures to support menopausal women and identify good practice. By the end of this training, you’ll feel confident and empowered to create a supportive and inclusive workplace for all employees. Get ready to make a positive difference!

What will you learn?

By the end of the session, you will understand:

  • The signs and symptoms of peri/menopause/post
  • The correct terminology and wording
  • The long-term effects of menopause if not addressed early enough
  • How to make the “menopause journey” better for individuals
  • How best to support individuals in work
  • Policies and procedures to support colleagues
  • A space in time to create an achievable action plan either for individuals or the work environment.

Who should attend?

Volunteers, staff and trustees of organisations working with, and managing, colleagues who may be going through the menopause.

Please note this training is aimed at voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.
