A Community First Yorkshire event

Leadership for Impact – Leadership Mentoring Information Session

Would you like to apply to be a mentee in Community First Yorkshire’s highly successful Leadership Mentoring programme? Or is there someone on your team who might be interested?

This one-hour online session provides an opportunity to hear from experienced mentors – successful Chief Executives who have supported many of our mentees over previous cohorts – and a selection of mentees who have completed the programme.

This session covers the application process and what you can expect from your mentor across the six months of the new cohort beginning in June 2025. This is your opportunity to ask questions of the leadership mentoring team and get ahead on making your application or supporting staff in completing theirs.

What will you learn?

During the session, we will cover:

  • The outline for the Leadership Mentoring programme running from June 2025.
  • What you can expect from mentors and how Community First Yorkshire supports the process.
  • The experiences of both mentors and mentees on previous programmes and the impact mentoring can have on ensuring improvement and increasing influence.
  • The opportunities available after the mentoring programme has completed in December 2025.

Who should attend?

This session is designed for anyone interested in applying to the Leadership Mentoring programme or supporting staff to make their own applications.

Please note this training is aimed at voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.
