Mental Health First Aid Champions
Event aims
The Mental Health First Aid Champions course is designed to empower your organisation to deliver on your wellbeing strategy and aims to deliver the following;
- Knowledge and confidence to provide Mental Health First Aid for the most common mental health issues
- An understanding of how to help build a mentally healthy workplace, challenge stigma and support positive wellbeing
This online course takes place through a mixture of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities.
Who should attend?
This workshop is designed for colleagues within the VCSE sector who are interested in learning more about mental health and are keen to drive forward a wellbeing strategy in their organisation.
Please note, this course is only available to colleagues within the Humber, Coast and Vale area. One place is available per organisation.
Participants are expected to attend both sessions as part of the course taking place on 28 February & 3 March.

What’s included?
Attendees will receive a Mental Health First Aid England manual, a reference card for the Mental Health First Aid England action plan and a workbook including a helpful toolkit to support their own mental health.
Trainer
This training will be delivered by Mental Health First Aid England, who offer expert guidance and training to support mental health, in the workplace and beyond.
The course is being offered at no cost to organisations in the Humber Coast and Vale area, thanks to funding through the Humber Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership.
