North Yorkshire Reuse Network
With many people wishing to live a more sustainable life, there’s been a growth in voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations working to waste less and reuse, repair and recycle more.
We want to connect with organisations with an interest in reuse: from community fridges to IT recycling, we are joining together to promote reuse across North Yorkshire.
We’re excited to hear from organisations interested in being part of the network to bring issues such as funding and partnership working to the fore.
At this meeting, we welcome your perspective on practical approaches to reuse and how best to share knowledge and expertise.
We will be inviting specialist speakers from the sector to share their knowledge and give an overview of current challenges and potential opportunities.
In this session we will be joined by Helen Flynn from Nidderdale Plus talking about how they are putting their own environmental policy to life. We will also be joined by The Charity Shop Gift Card to tell us about their compostable gift card and e-cards.
