Have you ever wanted to be a reflective practitioner? Would you like to learn the skills to be more reflective in your work and your writing as part of your role?
It’s common sense that people respond more to personal story telling rather than a dry report. Reflective writing is a way of drawing on your own experiences to craft copy for case studies, reports and funding bids, or even public speaking that is more engaging.
Reflective Writing is a vital and vibrant skill to have in your work writing armoury.
That’s why we’re thrilled to be working with the Royal Literary Fund to offer this course as part of a range of writing courses that have been specifically design for the VCSE sector and their needs
This 2½ hour workshop will support you to:
- Develop an understanding of reflective writing and its benefits
- Explore how reflective writing helps you to learn from your experience and improve your practice
- Practise different models for approaching reflective writing in your day-to-day work. Through writing exercises and discussion, you will examine the importance of asking yourself practice-related questions, reflecting on what you think and feel and putting your learning into action as a reflective practitioner.
