Social Media Strategy and Objective Setting

NEW FOR 2023:

How do you make your social media efforts more fruitful?

You know how to use your social media channels but is it time to take things to the next level by developing a social media strategy?

Whatever the size of your organisation and your team, a social media strategy and pre-set objectives are essential. Without them, anything you post can be a drop in the social media ocean.

In response to our recent survey around social media needs, we want to help you build a social media strategy that helps you make the most of the tools available to you – especially when you have limited time and resources.

This live, interactive training will be delivered over Zoom.

Our social media workshops are popular. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

We want to make this workshop as bespoke as possible. The group size will be limited and a survey will be sent to you once you have registered so that we can understand your exact training needs.

The workshop will be tailored to meet the needs of the group but is likely to cover the following areas:

  • Social media objectives – what are yours?
  • Free and paid tools – what you can achieve.
  • Setting your tone and voice.
  • Developing a strategy.
  • Creating a social media guidebook.
  • Calendars and milestones.
  • Reports and analysis.
  • A chance to share your own experiences and learn from others.

Who should attend?

This training is for staff or volunteers who have responsibility for social media as part of their role. Volunteer co-ordinators will find this training particularly useful.

You should have a good knowledge of social media and how to use it – but need help in developing a longer-term strategy, objectives and goals.

Please note this training is aimed at organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.

What’s included?

After the training, you will be sent a pack containing all the advice, tips and links discussed during the session.
You will also be able to pass on follow-up questions to our trainers, SRX Consultancy, who will offer practical support (via email or a quick call) to ensure you are able to put everything you learned into action.
