This a network meeting for both new and experienced treasurers of voluntary community and social enterprise sector organisations across North Yorkshire.
A Community First Yorkshire event
Treasurers Network – Navigating the Cost of Living Crisis (morning session)
The cost of living crisis is hitting many voluntary and community organisations hard. As a treasurer, how do you navigate this difficult time for your organisation or community group?
Our Treasurers Network provides a safe space that brings together treasurers of organisations across North Yorkshire to find ways in which to help cut costs and ways to increase income.
During the first half of the network meeting, we’ll explore some of the issues that charities are facing as a result of the cost of living crisis such as:
- How to conduct an energy efficiency review
- How to look at alternative providers for your utilities
- How to increase income for your venue
- How to deal with increased demand for your services.
The second half of the meeting is for you to ask your questions about any particular issue you are facing, and share experiences with your fellow treasurers.
You can either pre-submit your questions by sending them to communitysupport@communityfirstyorkshire.org.uk or bring them along to the meeting.
