North Yorkshire VCSE Leaders Group meeting Thursday 6 June 2-4pm 

The North Yorkshire VCSE Leaders meeting brings together colleagues from a range of voluntary and community groups and social enterprises (VCSEs) across the county to discuss various topics. All voluntary groups and charity leaders are invited to these meetings – everyone is welcome.

At the meeting we will discuss and share views on the following draft agenda items:

• Adult Safeguarding and wider concerns about children and young people’s safety – update and actions to note
• Prevent Partnership Board action plans and discussion of issues across North Yorkshire
• Apprenticeships – overview and discussion of recruiting Apprentices, working with providers and use of large organisations’ levy underspend
• North Yorkshire Thriving Communities Partnership meeting April – update and discussion of Participatory Grant Making
• North Yorkshire VCSE and public sector Compact redraft discussion (meeting notes of the previous discussion)
• Open discussion of sector and community issues.
