A Community First Yorkshire event

Volunteer Co-ordinator Network meeting: collaborative volunteering practices in a rural context

Event aims

Across North Yorkshire how can we, as volunteer coordinators and managers work more collaboratively? Guest speaker, Rob Jackson will be joining us to facilitate a discussion on the challenges and considerations for collaborative volunteering in a rural environment.

Who should attend?

This a network meeting for volunteer co-ordinators from across North Yorkshire to network and share information, advice, tips and thoughts on all aspects of volunteer management.

What will you learn?

At our next Volunteer Co-ordinator Network meeting we will be focussing on how collaborative volunteering practices can be delivered in rural areas. In the first half of the meeting Rob Jackson will lead a discussion on the challenges and considerations for volunteer managers.

After a short break there will then be an opportunity to explore the topic further with other volunteer coordinators and to raise any issues or concerns you may have about any aspect of volunteer management.

If you have any specific questions you would like to put to the network, please submit these before the meeting.

What’s included?

All attendees will receive a copy of the presentations and notes from the session.
