Ashden Awards

These awards recognise the environmental, social and economic benefits of outstanding climate solution projects in the UK and the developing world.

The initiative and its related activities aim to persuade policymakers, funders and the wider public to recognise renewable energy as a tool for addressing the urgent global issues of climate change, pollution and energy supply, as well as the social and economic needs of local communities.

This year’s award categories include energy innovation, nature-based solutions, powering futures in clean energy, energising refugees and displaced people, and more. Some categories focus on the UK, and others cover work in low- and middle-income countries.

Winners will receive a prize of £10,000 or £25,000 and a package of supplementary support.

Businesses, NGOs, government organisations, social enterprises and community groups are all eligible. Work must be currently available to clients, customers or beneficiaries.

Benefact Group - Movement for Good Awards

An international family of specialist financial services companies that give all available profits to charity and good causes.

The Movement for Good Awards is the annual programme of giving. This year over £1 million will be given to charities and good causes – with your help.

You can nominate a registered charity, not-for-profit organisation or community interest company for a £1,000 award.

You can nominate as many charities as you like – it’s one nomination per charity, per person. The more nominations a charity gets, the greater their chances of winning.

Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Humanitarian Prize

This cash prize rewards a charitable or non-profit, non-governmental organisation that has made an exceptional contribution towards alleviating human suffering. Deadline: ongoing.
