Age Friendly Network: Tackling ageism together

tackling ageism together

North Yorkshire’s Age Friendly Network offers an opportunity for older people in our communities – their families and the organisations that support them – to share information and individual views on the topics that really matter.

This online get-together offers a chance to reconnect, catch up on what the network’s been working on, and shape where we go next.

This time around, we’ll be hosting an interactive session on ageism – offering you the chance to feed in your experiences of living in North Yorkshire.

Expect a mix of updates and open discussion, as well as a chance to hear from North Yorkshire Council’s Active North Yorkshire team. They’ll be exploring all the options to help older people lead a happier and healthier lifestyles.

Whether you’re a regular or new to the network, your voice matters – come along and be part of the conversation.

And, if you’d like to join us, but need some help with the tech, please give us a call on 01904 01904 704177.

What will you learn?
