Volunteer Coordinators Network meeting – Countywide volunteering programmes

Volunteer Co-ordinators Network

Are you a volunteer coordinator looking to reach more people and grow your team? Join us for a session on countywide volunteering programmes. Discover ways to connect with potential volunteers, share best practices, and promote your roles effectively.

We’re delighted that Kate Leggett from Open Country will be joining us for this online session. Kate will share experiences of managing a large, geographically dispersed volunteer team across North Yorkshire.

This is a great opportunity to learn from real-world examples and gain practical insights into running successful countywide programmes.

Whether you’re looking to fill specific positions or strengthen your volunteer programme, it’s an opportunity not to be missed.

What will you learn?

This session will give you the chance to:

  •  hear how others are managing volunteers across wide areas
  • explore the challenges and opportunities of remote volunteer coordination
  •  share your own experiences and learn from your peers
  • ask questions and raise any issues you have about any aspect of volunteer management.

If you have a question you’d like to put to the group, please email it in advance to info@communityfirstyorkshire.org.uk.

Who should attend?

This is a network meeting for volunteer co-ordinators from across North Yorkshire to come together to share information, advice, tips and thoughts on all aspects of volunteer management.

Please note this training is aimed at voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.

What’s included?

All attendees will receive a copy of the presentations and notes from the session.
