A Community First Yorkshire event

Volunteer co-ordinators network meeting – micro-volunteering

Micro-volunteering offers flexible, low-commitment ways for people to make a real difference – whether it’s a five-minute task from home or a one-off action in the community.

During this network meeting, we’ll explore what can be achieved through micro-volunteering: what works well in different settings, what challenges can arise, and how small actions are adding up to big impact.

What will you learn?

Micro-volunteering aligns with the Vision for Volunteering’s Experimentation theme by offering flexible, short tasks that fit easily into busy lives. It also supports the Vision’s Equity and Inclusion theme, breaking down barriers to ensure volunteering is accessible to all, regardless of background.

Join us to explore how micro-volunteering can make a big impact and create more inclusive, flexible opportunities for everyone.

Who should attend?

This is a network meeting for volunteer co-ordinators from across North Yorkshire, offering an opportunity to come together and share information, advice, tips and thoughts on all aspects of volunteer management.

What’s included?

All attendees will receive a copy of the presentations and notes from the session.

Tea and coffee will be provided.
