We’ll be looking at why moderation matters and what should be moderated.
By the end of the session, you will:
- understand the legal responsibilities of trustees and staff around online activity
- know how to moderate Facebook pages and groups, including live moderation and banning users
- be familiar with moderation tools across other platforms including Zoom and Google
- know how to respond to and manage Google reviews
- be able to set the tone and policies that reflect your organisation’s values
- understand how to balance openness with safety in your online spaces.
The session includes a confidential Q&A – either in a group or one-to-one – where you can raise specific concerns or challenges you’ve faced.
