This network session will introduce VCSE finance staff and volunteers to the essential skills they need to effectively measure and communicate the impact of their projects – enhancing funding opportunities, accountability, and strategic decision-making.

What will you learn?

During the two-hour session, we will delve into the essential practices for measuring and communicating the impact of your organisation’s activities and initiatives.

By participating, you will:

  • Understand the importance of impact measurement in the VCSE sector
  • Learn best practices for setting objectives and developing relevant indicators
  • Gain insights into practical techniques for data collection and analysis
  • Explore tools and frameworks
  • Discover how to create compelling impact reports for various stakeholders
  • Hear real-life examples and case studies from those willing to share on the day
  • Engage in interactive discussions and group activities to develop an impact measurement framework
  • Have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and receive peer support and feedback.

Who should attend?

This a network meeting for new and experienced treasurers and finance officers of voluntary community and social enterprise sector organisations across North Yorkshire.

Please note this training is aimed at voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.
