Outdoor and Rural Volunteering

Join us at this Volunteer Co-ordinator Network meeting where we will look at the positive impact volunteering in the outdoors can have on health and wellbeing, as well as the types of opportunity open to individuals and groups of volunteers.

We are thrilled to be welcoming Paul Bamber from the North York Moors National Park, who will talk about his own journey as well as how we can all benefit from venturing into the great outdoors. Paul will talk about his work at the National Park but also about opportunities for individuals, groups and organisations to get involved with a rural or outdoor project.

Who should attend?

This is a network meeting for volunteer co-ordinators from across North Yorkshire to come together to share information, advice, tips and thoughts on all aspects of volunteer management.

Please note this training is aimed at voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and groups based in North Yorkshire or delivering services within North Yorkshire.

What’s included?

All attendees will receive a copy of the presentations and notes from the session.
